I play GT5 more because shooting people gets old with time but that may be just me. I also have Dirt, another racing game but I don’t really like it. If you are getting him a PS3 he needs at least 1 BRD movie. My vote, get the guy what he asked for, he knows his preferences better than the rest of us. That is my two cents, do as ye will.
